Welcome to my Class!!

Dear Second Graders,

     Welcome to Second Grade!! My name is Ms. Melendez and I will be your 2nd grade teacher. I am very excited to be your teacher and help you to learn new and exciting things. You will be reading lots of stories, writing your own stories, and learning spelling words this year. There are many other fun activities I have planned for this year, it's going to be so much fun!! I am looking forward to meeting you and helping you learn new things. I will try my best to make this school year the greatest! Enjoy the rest of your summer! I am looking forward to the new school year! It's going to be a fantastic year!
